(02) Worked example

The math on a sample file.

$360,000 eligible business deposits over 12 months, 100% owned: × (1 − 50%) ÷ 12 = $15,000 a month. With a CPA letter at the 15% minimum: $25,500. In a 70% industry: $9,000.

(03) In DepositDesk

What the worksheet flags.

  • Ownership under 25%
  • Personal statements: whether the 2-months-of-business-statements option applies
  • CPA-letter factors below 15% are raised to 15%

The worksheet, CSV and lender PDF all carry the line “Calculated per Angel Oak Mortgage Solutions's published guidelines (as of Oct 7, 2026). DepositDesk is not affiliated with Angel Oak.” so the underwriter sees which rules you used.
